Degrees being conferred on the students during Annual Convocation and Prize Distribution Function of D.D. Jain College of Education, Ludhiana on Saturday.
Ludhiana, May 25, 2013: Annual Convocation and Prize Distribution Function of D.D. Jain College of Education, Ludhiana held on Saturday.
Prof. Naval Kishore, Dean, College Development Council, Panjab University, Chandigarh delivered the convocation address and distributed the prizes to the winners of the various events who brought laurels to the college.
Principal of the college, Dr. Vijay Laxmi, presented the annual report, highlighting the achievements of students.
A total of 200 degrees were conferred on B.Ed students.
Dr. Naval Kishore also inaugurated the “Art Exhibition” held in the college premises. It included a stupendous range of material from painting to photo frames and from flower making to pot decoration. The exhibition provided a rare opportunity to view original works of D. D. Jain College students. The exhibition displayed extraordinary usage of the best out of waste material.
Dr. Vijay Laxmi gave a vote of thanks on the behalf of Samaj Rattan Hira Lal Jain and President Kedar Nath Jain.
The distinguished guests Shanti Saroop Jain, Bipin Jain, Shiv Desh Bandhu Gupta, Surinder Kumar Jain, Yogesh Kumar Jain, Yogeshwar Jain and Naresh Kumar Jain were among those present.
