Jalandhar, May 27, 2013: Students of 10+2 of all streams participated in Women Training Camp organised by Swami Vivekanand (150th Anniversary) Samaroh Samiti, Punjab in Dayanand Ayurvedic College, Jalandhar.
This camp was organised for the development of physical, mental and intellectual skills of the students.
Students participated in group discussion on topics like female foeticide, dowry system, reason being human beings. They also participated in poster and collage making. Different games were organised for their mental development.
A lecture was based on life and ideas of Swami Vivekanand which impressed all the audience. Students gained a lot in this camp. Smiledeep 10+2 (Arts), Aradhika +2 (Medical), Samridhi +2 (Non Med.) Nitasha +2 (Commerce), Sukhman +2 Commerce participated in this camp. They bagged 2nd position in college making in the camp.
Dr. Vani Datt accompanied the students.
Principal, Dr Atima Sharma congratulated the students and said that such activities help in developing physical, mental and intellectual skills of the students.
