Jalandhar, February 10, 2013: P.G. Department of Commerce and Business Administration organised an educational trip to Nestle India Ltd. with 137 students from M.Com, B.Com (R) and B.Com (Prof.) alongwith 8 teachers, Poonam Gupta, Dr. Sabina Batra, Harjot, Anu, Mansha, Manbir, Sheena Kalani and Poonam Mehta.
To supplement the class room teaching, students are made to visit various industries to acquaint them with actual operations being conducted in total manufacturing processes.
The visit to Nestle India Ltd. was a real eye opener for the students.
The plant at Tahliwal is totally automated, complying with all the legal provisions of governing regulatory Acts.
