Jalandhar, August 20, 2013: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar’s P.G. Department of Fashion Designing celebrated Raksha Bandhan by organising a Rakhi-making Competition.
The students were given themes of Tri-colour, Kids Rakhi, Best-out-of waste.
In U.G. category, Manreet got first prize, Ramanjot got second prize, Kiranpreet and Neha jointly bagged third prize.
In P.G. category, Rajdeep got first prize, Anjali and Mandeep got second prize, Aditi got third prize.
The tri-colour rachis will be sent to the NCC Local unit for the brave soldiers of our country while the rest of the rachis will be tied to the inmates of Pingalaghar.
