CT Group of Institutions at Jalandhar celebrates Teachers’ Day on Thursday.

Jalandhar, September 5, 2013: Students make the fortunes and the teachers make the difference. Anyone can feel jealous for success of someone, but the teachers are those rare people who feel pleasure in seeing their students rising above their own level.

This was stated by Charanjit Singh Channi, Chairman, CT Group of Institutions while addressing teachers of the institutions on Teachers’ Day celebrations. He felicitated the teaching fraternity on the occasion and called upon them to become a role model to impart value based quality of education to the students. He also emphasized on making all-out efforts to infuse the noble qualities of discipline, righteousness, truthfulness, sense of integrity & high character amongst the students.

To expressing their respect and love towards the teachers, the students of CT Group of Institutions organized the function to mark the day. The students of various departments also speechified to convey their inner feelings of affection, gratitude & respect for their teachers. The students made elaborate preparations for the celebrations. They organized a range of colorful cultural programs, a tea party and other activities that made the event memorable. The students presented performances to entertain the architects of their fate. They presented different presentations and gave the chance to the teachers to play fun games, in which the winners were awarded. The teachers were also called upon to the stage to share their experiences. The students presented colorful flowers, beautiful Teachers Day cards or gifts to their teacher as a token of love and admiration.

Manbir Singh, Managing Director and Harpreet Singh, Vice Chairman of the institution also graced the occasion. Dr. Manoj Kumar, Group Director, while sharing the views with the teachers & faculty, said that the Teachers Day is celebrated as a tribute to the valuable contribution made by the teachers to the society by imparting knowledge & enlightening & shaping the career of the students. Teachers’ Day is fairly popular in many countries across the world & is even acknowledged by UNESCO, he added. He further mentioned that it is the teacher who leaves an indelible impression on the mind of the students that gets never wiped out with the passage of time. He advised the teachers to discharge our duties with the utmost dedication, sincerity & commitment.

The teachers of the institutions resolved to provide quality education to the students. They also thanked the students to pay due respect and recognition to them.
