Chandigarh, September 5, 2013: Punjab Government has released Rs. 70 crore under Mid Day Meal Scheme to all the government schools in the state.
Disclosing this here today Principal Secretary Education Anjali Bhawra, said that District Education Officers (Elementary Education) have been instructed to provide Mid Day Meal in all the schools in which Mid Day Meal was not being provided.
District Managers Mid Day Meal have also been directed to send their report by 05:00 p.m. on e-mail to the General Manager Mid Day Meal mentioning the status of Mid Day Meal served to the students of all the schools in their respective districts.
