Jalandhar, September 6, 2013: A good teacher does not teach, instead, a good teacher helps a student explore the edges of his capacity and go beyond that.
At Ivy World School, Jalandhar, this was recognised and lauded by the students who prepared a heart-warming cultural programme for the teachers on Thursday. The awakening of joy and creative expression could be seen in the dances performed. The day started with a ‘tika’ and sweets for an auspicious beginning.
Little children performed beautifully in sync with the music and made the teachers realize how their contribution to the development of the future generation is applauded.
Gifts were distributed among the teachers to mark the occasion.
The celebrations ended with fun filled games and laughter and the rendition of the school song in true Ivian spirit with love in their hearts a happiness all around.
