Students participate in the activity of Surya Namaskar at GMT Public School, Ludhiana on Monday.
Ludhiana, February 18, 2013: The activity of Surya Namaskar was carried out in the campus of GMT Public School under the guidance and association of Swami Vivekananda aegis to celebrate the 150 years. The student of V and VI classes alongwith their teachers gathered in the ground during morning assembly and very efficiently carried out the activity.
The DP.eds guided the students about the 10 steps needed for Surya Namaskar.
The different Aasans were done by the students and some students guided the others for the activity. These Aasanas provide relaxation of both body and mind and rejuvenates the muscles.
This activity is conducted worldwide in all the schools and GMT School also contributed in this divine effort.
The principal Amarjit Dhaliwal also encouraged the students to make this activity a part of daily routine.
