CT Professor bags Best Teacher Award

Jalandhar August 19, 2013: Dr Manju Bala, Associate professor and Head  Department of Computer Science & Engineering CTIEMT was given the best teacher Award for the year 2013 by Indian Society of Technical Education.

She was awarded at a ceremony held at Rayat-Bahra College of Engineering and Nano Technology for Women, Bohan Village, Hoshiarpur Chandigarh Road.

Dr Manju Bala was given the honour of meritorious teacher for her research in the field of computer science and Engineering.

At present she is working as the Associate Professor and Head of Dept CTIEMT in CT Group of Institutions. She has completed her PHD in Wireless Sensor Networks from NIT Hamirpur (Himachal Pradesh). She has 42 national and International publications to her credit and has presented papers in various conferences in India and abroad. The function was attended by Dr R Murugesan, President, ISTE & Former Vice Chancellor, Anna University of Technology, Madurai, Dr S Basil Gnanappa Executive Secretary and Programme Director, Indian Society for Technical Education.

Praising the efforts of the faculty, Dr. Manoj Kumar  Group Director said, “It is a pleasant news that the teachers of our institute are bringing laurels to the organization day by day. The incessant programmes & researches being run here at CT Group of Institutions have chiseled the personality of our teachers. The management of the institute espouses the faculty members time to time. This success of Dr. Manju Bala would give encouragement to others to follow her footsteps. We wish her the best of luck for future endeavors.”
